LEGO Minigame Regulations

1. GENERAL

1.1. The following minigame regulations (the “Minigame Regulations”) shall apply to the “LEGO® Minigame”, as further specified below (the “Minigame”) and shall be binding upon all participants in the minigame (the “Participant(s)”).
1.2. The game will run from 03 April, 2026 through 30 April, 2026 (the “Term”).
1.3. The minigame will take place on the website of the Retailer (as defined below).
1.4. The minigame is organised by LEGO Certified Stores Bahrain and Majid Al Futtaim Fashion Bahrain SPC, the officially licensed partner of The LEGO Group in Bahrain (hereinafter the “Organiser”).
1.5. Engaged BV, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises with company registration number 0545.928.074, and with registered seat’s address at Beukenlaan 83, 2980 Zoersel, will act as data processor and technical operator for the minigame (the “Data Processor”).
1.6. Majid Al Futtaim Fashion Bahrain SPC has been appointed by the Organiser to host the minigame on their website.

2. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

2.1. The minigame is open to any participant who is a natural person and who is not directly and/or personally connected with the organisation of this minigame.
2.2. If the Participant is not legally competent, participation in the minigame is only allowed with the explicit consent of a parent, guardian, or caregiver. If the legally incompetent Participant cannot produce this consent, he or she may be denied further participation in the minigame at any time, and their right to a prize may be withdrawn.
2.3. Participation in the minigame is free.

3. MINIGAME & PRIZE REDEMPTION REGULATIONS

3.1. To participate in the minigame, the Participant must follow these steps:

• The Participant clicks the designated button to begin participation in the minigame on the Retailer’s website;
• The Participant completes the minigame;
• The Participant registers by providing their email address, with permission from the Participant’s parent, guardian, or caregiver if the Participant is not legally competent, and clicks on "Submit";
• There is one (1) Gift with Purchase (GWP) to be redeemed in this game: a LEGO® Hot Rod Car (Set 30735), while stocks last;
• Participants are eligible to claim the GWP by completing the game, receiving a unique code via email, and using that code during any purchase at LEGO® Certified Stores or on LEGO.ME;
• Each Participant may claim the GWP only once;
• The GWP cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other item;
• The GWP can be redeemed from 3 April – 30 April 2026 in Bahrain.

Fraud includes, but is not limited to, participation with multiple email addresses where other personal data are manifestly identical.

4. PERSONAL DATA

4.1. By participating in the minigame, the Participant acknowledges and accepts that his/her personal data (including name and email address) will be collected and processed by the Organiser, acting as data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), for the sole purpose of organising and operating the minigame, including communication with Participants. The personal data will not be used for other purposes. The Data Processor, acting within the meaning of Article 4(8) GDPR, will process personal data strictly on behalf of the Organiser under its instructions.
4.2. Personal data will be retained for a maximum of two (2) months following the end of the minigame. After this period, the personal data will be deleted from the databases of the Data Processor and the Organiser. The name and email address are collected to identify Participants. Requests to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the use of personal data may be directed to the Organiser at its registered address.
4.3. Participants who give their opt-in permission on the Retailer’s website acknowledge and accept that the Retailer may contact them regarding their participation in the minigame and other promotional communications, in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the GDPR. The Organiser may securely transfer collected opt-in email addresses to the Retailer for this purpose. The Retailer, acting as an independent data controller for marketing purposes, may use the opt-in data for commercial activities including newsletters, personalised marketing campaigns, and retargeting via platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Participants may withdraw consent at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or by contacting the Retailer.
4.4. The Retailer has been appointed by the Organiser to contact Participants regarding their prize and will act as a data processor for this purpose, accessing only the necessary personal data and processing it in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and the Organiser’s instructions.
4.5. The Organiser refers to its privacy policy, which can be consulted via the URL: Privacy Policy.

5. LIABILITY

5.1. Typographical, spelling, electronic, or other errors cannot be invoked as grounds for any obligation whatsoever on the part of the Organiser, the Data Processor, and/or the Retailer.
5.2. The Organiser, the Data Processor, and/or the Retailer shall not be held liable for technical problems preventing participation in the minigame or affecting its uninterrupted operation, including but not limited to internet failures, hardware or software defects, or server failures.
5.3. No liability shall arise for failure to deliver a prize due to insufficient, incomplete, or incorrect contact details provided by the Participant.
5.4. No liability shall arise for postal or courier delivery failures (including delay, damage, strike, or loss).
5.5. Each prize will be sent only once to the address provided by the Participant.
5.6. No liability shall arise for damages resulting from participation in the minigame and/or the acceptance or use of any prize.
5.7. The Organiser reserves the right to shorten, cancel, or amend the minigame or its Regulations.
5.8. Liability shall only arise in cases of wilful misconduct or legally attributable fault resulting in harm to life or physical integrity, insofar as such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

6. FORCE MAJEURE

6.1. In the event of force majeure or any other circumstance beyond the Organiser’s, Data Processor’s, or Retailer’s control (a “Force Majeure Event”), the Organiser reserves the right to postpone, shorten, suspend, modify, or terminate the minigame in whole or in part.
6.2. The Organiser will notify Participants accordingly. Participants accept such measures without any right to claim or seek recourse.

7. AMENDMENTS

The Organiser is entitled to amend these Minigame Regulations if necessary and will notify Participants accordingly. Participants accept such amendments without any right to claim or seek recourse.

8. APPLICABLE LAW AND PLACE OF JURISDICTION

8.1. The laws of Bahrain exclusively apply to these Minigame Regulations and the entire legal relationship between the Organiser, the Data Processor, the Retailer, and the Participant(s).
8.2. All disputes arising in connection with these Minigame Regulations shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahrain.
