The aim is to make the experience far more personal and to encourage children’s imagination to grow as they explore new ideas, new worlds and new concepts.

What’s the story behind LEGO DREAMZzz?

LEGO DREAMZzz is a fantasy IP that tells the story of a group of kids who discover that fantasy is just as real as ‘reality’, and everyone you’ve ever dreamt of actually exists! The adventure starts when four brave youngsters dive deeper into this dreamworld and battle the Nightmare King.

LEGO DREAMZzz hasn’t been created by a backroom ‘team’ at LEGO HQ, but by consulting with more than 30,000 kids to create a story and LEGO sets that really connect. That’s what makes LEGO DREAMZzz so special.

Turning the instructions into a story

Instructions are always a bit of a snooze-fest for kids, so LEGO DREAMZzz sets come with bright, cheerful and story-led instructions that are more like a comic than a set of rules. Because, as we already know, there are no rules when it comes to LEGO sets!

The guidelines on how to use the sets create a story, so that children learn through play and imagination rather than being told what to do and being restricted by instructions. LEGO DREAMZzz takes a different approach to play that’s far more inclusive and engaging.

Dream Village is a real favourite with anyone new to the idea as it embraces the concept of creating your very own little world, complete with characters. The three buildings within the Dream Village set can be combined and altered to give multiple variations and options.
